People here at the office left early. And I feel like such a valentine’s grinch by being here. hehe.
Just a rejoinder of my pre-Valentine’s entry. For those of you living outside the Philippines, Filipinos (at least living in Metro Manila) takes Valentine’s Day seriously. Traffic is like during the peak Christmas Season. It’s like the whole 7 million people deciding that they’re all going out. It’s unbelievable. I came back from Ortigas (one of the business districts in Manila) from a meeting and I saw queues of people for the ATM. Payday is traditionally 15th and 30th of every month for most companies. I guess the HR people decided to be generous and release their salaries early. Hell, the person in charge of our payroll released our salaries early. Nuts.
