If you want to catch LOTR director Peter Jackson's early work try to catch the screening of Heavenly Creatures over at Brash Young Cinema later this evening. Pretty good movie as Jackson successfully turns a potentially boring story to an engaging one.

Finally caught Genndy Tartakovsky's latest opus Samurai Jack on the telly yesterday morning. It was so much fun! As usual Tartokvsky weaves pop culture in the series by having a nod at all those Kurosawa samurai films. Can't wait to see the rest of the episodes!

.MOV: the digital moviefest, The 1st Philippine Digital Film Festival, January 23-30, 2002, Greenbelt Cinema 1, Makati City I missed the opening but there's still a few days to catch it. Watch something other than what Hollywood and Mother Lily serves up. Go do something different for a change.

Watched American Adobo last Saturday. (Wow! I watched another Pinoy movie! Within a month of the last one!
