Through the Swede’s Eye
Hello. Looks like the regular updates and the revamped site won’t be coming up soon. Still busy cooking up the Big Project. Might go away with the wife unit somewhere for our delayed honeymoon after the Big Project. So expect something regular March. Otherwise, I’ll just do some of these guerrilla updates.

I’ve placed a couple of pictures from Inga, my latest Swedish companion (never mind parts of her were made in France, Japan, and China). I’ve been waiting for at least a year to get my hands on one of these babies. So far, no regrets. Click on the pics to get a larger version.

I’m really heartbroken about the seven astronauts on the Columbia shuttle. What a waste of brilliant men and women. I learened there were over 80 experiments during that trip, most of which successful. The results have been lost with the astronauts.
I think the space program is important. I caught Dan Rather’s sarcastic aside in one of the CBS news broadcasts to listen close to those “who think the space program is important.”
As human beings I think we’d go nuts knowing there’s a big universe out there and we’re not doing anything about it. The space program, the regular shuttle launches scratches that itch. We have to know what’s out there.

But for every US-based tragedy like Columbia, there are far more tragic events happening elsewhere in the world and are not getting up-to-the-minute, blow-by-blow, ticker-below-the-screen updates. Just a matter of perspective what’s important to the US-based media I guess, despite having a global audience.

And to set the record straight:
1. I did not make those LOTR pictures from the last time. I neither have the skills nor the inclination to do such things.
2. I also do not have the time to read through the lines of Asereje and find the demonic meaning behind the song. I mean it may be annoying but I doubt there’s anything demonic about it. (Thank you for placing my blog among the top 20 results for “asereje AND satan” and “satanic lyrics in asereje”. Warms my black heart. Not.)
3. I do not have personal contact with Aubrey Miles, Diana Zubiri and Maui Taylor so stop sending me your love notes and proposals. Guys, it’s really sad. Stop it.

Your P800 shots were interesting. Am considering one right now…and the pictures is helping me make a decision. Although am quite happy with my T68.
Decisions. Decisions.
