Speaking of soldiers, I just got a forwarded mail supposedly containing LtSg. Trillanes’ masteral thesis for which he received death threats as it exposed corruption in the military. Download it here.
* Caveat emptor or whatever is the literary equivalent for it. I can’t vouch for the authenticity of the document. The content is not something we haven’t heard before but it’s an interesting read nevertheless.
Interesting bits though: if you look at the properties of the Word document, it originates (at least the version which I got) from the HUDCC, the Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council headed by Sec. Mike Defensor, one of the negotiators during the Oakwood brouhahaha and “ka-brad” of Sen. Honasan. It appears that this document is making the rounds of government as well as private institutions. Also the name on the document leads back to the owner of http://www.geocities.com/albinoski/ who is an ardent letter writer to various local broadsheets.
As street hustlers would say: “Keep your eyes on ball. Which cup is it under? Is the hand faster than the eye?”

ah, but it’s relatively easy to change object properties of documents. maybe this is exactly what they want us to think :)

Good you pointed this out. Just curious, how’d you get your copy? I got mine through De La Salle College circles (an email group) where Trillanes also went to school.
