Nothing good in the theaters these days except fo Master and Commander which I initially thought to be awful macho crap. It turned out to be a great adventure movie nicely put together by director Peter Weir. I can’t wait for Kill Bill to hit the local theaters. I even watched Scary Movie 3 (it had moments of the Zucker/Airplane silliness) out of desperation.

I’m giving DVD watching a rest these days. I still have a stack to go through at home but I can’t seem to sit still in front of the tube. I can’t wait to get my hands on The Two Towers Extended Edition though. It’ll be nice if I can watch it with Petite before we go see Return of the King. I hear the DVD has some great additional scenes which contributed greatly to advancing the story. Apparently it was cut out due to concerns on the lengthly running time.

What I’ve been into lately are some aural pleasures.

Some albums on my current multiple personality type playlist, a mixture of old and new:

The Neptunes Present: Clones
Rod Stewart: As Time Goes By…The Great American Songbook: Volume II
Beatles: Let It Be…Naked
Michael Jackson: Number Ones
Elvis Presley: 2nd to None
Moby: Play
Dido: Life for Rent
Kill Bill Vol. 1 OST
John Mayer: Heavier Things
Sting: Sacred Love
The Mongols: Buddha’s Pest

Sometimes the world makes sense only through songs.

PS Sorry for Mozilla users out there. I just saw this site on Mozilla this afternoon and saw the kinks. It should be fixed now though. I really should be making these pages browser/backward compatible and the code up to spec but - pleh! Life happens.
