Death by Cell Phone

Investigators believe that cellphones might have been used to trigger the bombs during 3/11 in Madrid. There were also some arrests made using cellphones and tracking a prepaid card.

If you recall, the Bali Bombing was also triggered by a mobile phone. According to investigators, they are looking at Al Qaeda ties there too.

Correct me if I’m wrong, and I couldn’t find a link online but I think I saw it on a news special on TV once that the Rizal Day 2000 bombing of the LRT was also supposedly caused by a cellphone triggered bomb. Of course Rohman Al Ghozi, who supposedly had links to the Al Qaeda, was pegged as behind the LRT bombing.

It’s scary to think that these terrorists are fine tuning their methods right in our own backyard. Meanwhile the MRT security guards continue their strike, as politicians continue to stomp around the country for the elections.

  1. Yes, I remember the same thing. A cell phone thrown out into the rails caused the 2000 LRT bombing.

  2. it’s only a matter of time before we get sucked in into all this. hay, wag naman sana, but i’m bracing for the worst that can happen.

hmmmm, soon, cellphones will be banned in any public facility like transpo, malls, parks, moviehouses, etc…
