I'm not annoying. You're just too sensitive.

“It’s the stories, stupid.”

Everyone needs a hobby. This is mine.

And for those not in any compiled list, I’ve started this. Yung sa Pinoy na lang ang kulang.

  1. I’m a movie lover myself, though my sched sometimes prevents me to go head-on with my own list of movies to watch. I think I should start a list of my own. Great post and nice weblog. I’ve linked you in mine.

  2. Ano yung crossed out, yung napanood mo na?

  3. I’d like to nominate “Annie” and “High Society” (Bing Crosby/Frank Sinatra/Grace Kelly) on that “movies that deserve more love” list. Kung di na pwede, I’ll just make my own list. :-)

    And yup, Amadeus ROCKS! ;-)

  4. ay grabe… haven’t watched or heard most of the titles in there :D

anyway, just checked out your site :)

  5. Lovie, sama natin “Annie” sa list natin. :) Haven’t seen “High Society” but I’ve heard good things about it. I think Grace Kelly is good enough reason to see it.

Sassy, yup I’ve crossed out the ones I’ve seen.

Doc Emer, that’s stretched out over 20+ years of watching in theaters, videos, vcds, dvds, tv, airplanes, boats… I these titles in mind whenever there’s a filmfest or channel surfing on TV. You’ll never know when these gems would show up.

  6. “My Fair Lady” is over three hours long. But pretty good. “Mutiny on the Bountry” is great.

“The Tailor of Panama” is simply great. Better if you’ve read the book. Pierce Brosnan looked delicious.

Ever heard of “The Usual Suspects”? (Gabriel Byrne, Kevin Spacey, Benicio del Torro). Fantastic.

  7. Sassy,I’ve seen the ‘controversial’ Brando version of Mutiny on the Bounty but I’d like to watch the Gable version too. That’s the one which made it to the AFI 100. I’ve only seen parts of My Fair Lady and to be fair, I’ve only crossed out the ones I’ve watched from beginning to end. I’ve only caught snatches of ‘Tailor’ too so I didn’t scratch that out.

The Usual Suspects I think made Kevin Spacey a certified Hollywood star. After the awesome back to back peformances in Se7en and Suspects, he definitely moved beyond his TV gangster Mel Profitt in Wiseguy. I hope he gets to make another movie with Samuel L. Jackson though. And soon.
