While You Were Sleeping
While we were away, tons of stuff happened:

- * The Batman Begins hype begins. *Update: new trailer here.
- * Darth Vader finally makes an appearance.
- * The Philippine Government again doing something too little too late with the logging ban. I wonder who has paper and lumber importation concessions?
- * Bush won over Kerry. 48% of America apologizes to the world.
- * Merriam-Webster dubbed ‘blog’ as word of the year in 2004. Filipino bloggers represent.
- * Sony and Nintendo unleashes their handheld gaming devices, the PSP and the DS in time for the holidays. Parents all over the world let out a collective groan.
- * Google plans to digitize the Harvard University, Stanford University, Oxford University, the University of Michigan and the New York Public Library. However, why do I have feeling Tara Reid, Jenna Jameson, Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears will still be the topped searched items on Google?
- * Friendster, taking a cue from Philippine-based me-too applications, finally embraced mobile connectivity. It’s currently available on Globe, Smart and Sun Cellular.
- * Apparently, Francine Prieto appeared in a very risque video for a Korean telecommunications company and that it’s quite popular with the Koreans. I can’t blame them.

Michael Keaton still owns everyone else in that let’s-all-wear-a-mask-and-underwear-outside-my-pants-for-a-living category. And if I were American, I’d apologize too. (Can’t stay mad at Bush for long. It’s like making fun of people at the Special Olympics.)
And by the by, nice site. ;)
