A Pinoy Blog About Nothing

Excuse me but that *was* a girly scream.

Pinoy Sniglets

If you’re old enough to remember sniglets, then this one is for you. Not to be confused with swardspeak which is a whole different class on its own.

This post from Expectorants got me thinking (hard thing to do for me…think, that is). There should be more words in the Filipino language. Evolution is the only way it would gain acceptance. If you don’t use it, it becomes a dead language. So, in the interest of enriching the Filipino language here are some new words I’d like to see included in daily use.

Some Pinoy Words That Don’t Exist But Should

1. iritabloid

Comeback daw ‘o. By the way, pare - Happy Anniversary sa’yo.

5. katatonia

Sleep induced from watching TV shows from Kapuso and Kapamilya.

6. seikosomatic

Ito ay ang ‘denial’ stage, eg ‘if it’s from Seiko, it must be good = if it’s a Philippine made movie, you must support it regardless how crappy it is.’ Obvious naman na mali.

7. pasan-load

10. jologger

JoL0g N@ bLoGgeR. (via Renaissance Girl)
