Yet Another EDSA Bombing
The Abu Sayyaf sent PGMA a morbid ‘Valentine’s Gift’ as it claims to bomb buses in Davao and in Makati, Manila’s primary business and financial district.
What they’re hoping to accomplish? I wouldn’t know. It certainly doesn’t endear them to people. Total war in the South? Guess what? They’re trying to bring it on the streets of Metro Manila. Then again watch the government over-react and over-compensate for making these places secure in the first place. I do hope they strike a balance between prevention and keeping the civil liberties intact.
