Sorry to all three regular readers but updates have been sparse the past week. This site’s been running on auto-pilot lately (wohoo! Wordpress Future Posts function!). We had house guests so we had to show them around town (read: DisneyWorld again) and such. Anyway, some interesting finds in the past week:
* I am Candlelight Chaos. Stupid, brainless fun for the week: Get your Goth Name here. If that’s not your thing, how about coming up with your own Mob nickname?
* Ye Olde Ancient Plush Gods. Stupid, brainless fun for the month: An H.P. Lovecraft Cthulhu story told with Plush toys. Oh and some people are making a movie, using real people, called The Miskatonic Acid Test, inspired by stories from Lovecraft.
* Will You Believe A Man Can Fly? Director Bryan Singer’s video blog on the new Superman movie.
* Rise of the Machines Self! Replicating! Robots! (via ) You know what this means don’t you? Yes, soon your house will be inundated by randy vacuum cleaners. Seriously, this is awesome.
* Why Not In Front of the Toilet Instead? A hotel in the Isle of Capri has installed TVs behind bathroom mirrors presumably to beam advertising.
* YahooPod? Yahoo! is getting into Apple iPod territory as it introduces Yahoo Music Unlimited for $4.99 a month. And they partnered with iRiver too. Heh.
* Speaking of the Pods, Mr. Gates himself thinks cell phones will be overtaking iPods soon. Nokia and Sony Ericsson (yay! bearing the Walkman brand no less) are ready to introduce their mp3 players/cell phone hybrids to the market: the Nokia N91 and the Sony Ericsson W800. People just don’t want carrying too many gadgets around. Remember PDAs? Apple would have to come up with a response soon before their iPods becomes irrelevant. It has certainly known to drop the occasional ball or two.
* Isn’t that called radio? Stevie Wonder releases video for the blind. I’m not making it up.

Junnie, thanks! I haven’t been doing my usual housekeeping on this site so I know this frustrates some people.
Banzai, actually you’re the third. Di ko na binilang kami ni Petite. ;) I’ve seen a plush toy of the Cthulu figures. Not terribly impressed though. Aliw yung idea though.
