Venus Rising
Venus Williams outclassed last year’s Wimbledon Ladies’ champ Maria Sharapova (7-6), (6-1) in an awesome match for a finals berth. Sharapova didn’t just roll over and quit but she was obviously frustrated while Williams just barreled through her every return. Williams will face the winner of the Davenport-Mauresmo match. Whoever wins, it should be an exciting finals match on July 2. Younger sister Serena was eliminated in the 3rd round.
Update: It’s Experience vs Power as Lindsay Davenport takes on Venus Williams tomorrow for the championship.

Ngayon lang ulit ako nakapanuod ng Wimbledon. I was hoping Serena would make it. Naaliw ako sa mga matches - Williams was just awesome but Davenport was equally impressive during her match against Kim Clijsters. It should be fun to watch tomorrow.

Venus looked scary when she bared her teeth during the match (second set ata). Gave me the creeps when she did that. :)
