“Who’s in the Men’s Finals?”
“Federer and Roddick.”
“Who?”
“Roddick…Paulate.”
Federer won over Kuya Dick 6-2, 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 in one hour and 41 minutes. That’s relatively short compared to the epic Ladies’ Finals where it took Venus Williams 2 hours 45 minutes to put away Lindsay Davenport 4-6, 7-6, 9-7.

it was Tony X44 Federer vs. Roddick Paulate!
I love Roddick say he needed a beer after losing to Federer for close to 10 straight games now! I guffawed when he followed up saying he might be able to beat him soon, “maybe punch him” to do it!..great guys to be in the finals….

I wish we saw the entire match like the Williams-Davenport game! We only saw highlights of X44 and Kuya Dick. I hope they re-air that. If Roddick’s game in the semi-final round was any indication, the championship would be intense as well.

di ko rin napanuod yung finals ng wimbeldon. as much as enjoy tennis, mas aliw akong panuodin ang women’s. simula nung nag retire na sila mcenroe, becker, edberg, nag switch na ako sa women’s at na aliw sa mga laro nila navratilova, graf, at of course, seles.
kahit na ngayon, mas “entertaining” panuodin ang laro ng mga babae kesa lalaki, kasi sa laro ng lalake sobrang bilis, puro power. kaya nag ko complain ang women’s tennis dahil dapat daw equal lang ang grand prize ng babae at lalake.
totoo naman, lakas pa ng grunts. hehe.

Ga, hehe buti na lang di natin na record ang game! ;)
Ibalik kapanahunan nga nina Borg (sp?), McEnroe, Connors nung una pinakilala ni Erpat yung tennis. Mas aliw back then. These days the male tennis players look the same. Tsaka parang sandali lang nag reretire na sila. Bakit di man lang abutin yung record wins? Si Borg pa rin ata madaming wins sa Wimbledon sa Men’s category. Pero nung nakapanuod ako minsan, lakas nga ng mga palo pero hanep din ang control nila. Nakakamangha.
Tama ka dun sa Ladies cat. Equal naman dapat pero suspetsa ko mas madaming endorsements ang Ladies.
Inggay nung Williams - Sharapova match no? :D

Dude, mag-post ka ng picture ni Federer katabi ng pic ni Tarantino. Just noticed that they look so much alike :) Parang Rob Thomas (new hair) and Eminem. Hehe
