Some days, it’s just harder to get out of bed:
* Explosions rock London underground and buses
* Season’s First Hurricane Moves Toward U.S.
* Arroyo asks cabinet to resign

Oi.
It’s enough to drive one to Prozac. But Tom Cruise wouldn’t approve.
Prayers and thoughts to everyone who have found themselves in harm’s way today.
Especially to the cabinet members who didn’t have a “lapse in judgement” and yet found themselves being asked to leave by the person who did.

let’s continue to pray for peace.
7/7 is not a good day for London people. (same as 9/11 for the US)…are the terrorists - numerologists? isnt it cell numbers in uk start with 077?

I am confused. Yesterday, I was down with the flu and couldn’t watch much tv (but I saw ‘She’s All That’ as part of therapy) and the meds sent me to bed early so I only read Arroyo’s message now. Now, my mother is saying wala daw pasok government schools because of some wage hike rally but I couldn’t find any circulars.
As far as I’m concerned, I would like to go back to bed. But what if there really are classes? And mine start in an hour and a half and I’m still in me pajamas? Wah.
PS. I read something about hurricanes but I’ll tell you about that later. This country is scared, scary.

Junnie, not sure about the UK cell numbers but it’s hard to ignore the coincidence of it: the start of the G8 meeting and London being awarded the 2012 Olympics the day before. But the Brits are a resilient lot and it was awesome how they responded to it.
Pen, game na! :) Got food and batteries ready. Yung hand-cranked radio for information in case the power gets cut na lang yung hinihintay namin. Kayo dyan?
xkg, the more PGMA drags her feet, the bigger the confusion to the country. I just hope it gets resolved peacefully. And I hope you’ll feel better soon. Ma-miss ka ng students mo. :)
And do tell me about your info on the hurricanes - it’s a major pre-occupation here as you can imagine.

nice observation… she who was sinned is casting so many stones against so many people…
I only hope those who know they can really do good and be of service… will stay…
was talking w/ my boss about this kanina… there are cabinet secretaries who are actually doing their job… and hopefully, we don’t lose them

Thanks Delish. One of my sister’s former boss was among those who were at the presscon. And yeah she was one of those people who were actually doing their job and not participating in politics. How can anyone good from the private sector join government if they keep treating them like that?
I really hope they find a peaceful enough resolution. And soon. While the world economy goes on, the Philippines’ is being neglected for these political maneuverings.

Take note: “lapse in many judgments,” ayon sa pantas na si Jinggoy. :-) Just gotta have something to laugh about still.
