DVD Tag from Daniel. Not sure if I have answered it before but what the hey:

Total Number of Films I Own on DVD And Video:

Way too much. I would say, it would be around 175 titles, give or take. That would include those in Beta format and VHS. All of which of course are in the Philippines. It’s not as diverse as I’d want to. I’d like to get into more Asian and Bollywood stuff. I already got a small collection here and trying very hard not to add to it because it’ll be a pain when we move.

The Last Film I Bought:

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Gift Set. I’ve been holding out to get this. Finally saw one selling for 19.99 (from an original of 71 USD). Good deal, yeah? Most recent movie purchase was Napoleon Dynamite and Shaun of the Dead.

Five Films Which I Watch a Lot / Mean a Lot to Me

These actually change depending on the mood but today it would be:

1. Casablanca - What can I say? I’m a sucker for this movie.

2. Star Wars (Original Trilogy) - Dude. It’s Star Wars.

3. Chasing Amy - Kevin Smith’s best movie, IMHO.

4. You’ve Got Mail - Secret! hehe

5. The Godfather - Dude. It’s Godfather.

Other movies who’d make it to the list on any other day: When Harry Met Sally, Seven Samurai, Pulp Fiction, Se7en, Reservoir Dogs, Rear Window, Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country, Infernal Affairs (Wu jian dao) , The City of Lost Children , Leon - The Professional, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Amores Perros, Run Lola Run, City of God, L’Auberge Espagnole, The Crime of Padre Amaro.

And yeah like Daniel, my guilty pleasure is The Sound of Music. Dude, it’s Julie Andrews!
