Harry Potter and the Search for a Proofreader

While going through the first few chapters of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Petite came across this: Click for a larger viewOn page 10 of course they meant 'sight' instead of 'site.' It's nice to know that despite the billions of dollars involved in JK Rowling's creation, they still manage to botch things up like proofreading. Good read still though.

Former Prez Cory, Susan Roces, the middle-class and the big businesses have called for the president to resign as VP Kabayan ...

HayNaku.com

Some days, it's just harder to get out of bed: * Explosions rock London underground and buses * Season's First Hurricane Moves Toward U.S. * Arroyo asks cabinet to resign Oi. It's enough to drive one to Prozac. But Tom Cruise wouldn't approve. Prayers and thoughts to everyone who have found themselves in harm's way today. Especially to the cabinet members who didn't have a "lapse in judgement" and yet found themselves being ...

I Need Shoes

Now comes the surge in sales of Adidas on Amazon.com. Happy 10th Amazon! Those celebrity deliveries ought to be fun. And what did I order recently? A freakin' radio for the hurricane season. I wonder if Howard Stern would show up to deliver it.
