* I was excited when I found out JJ Abrams would be doing a new Star Trek movie. Turns out it might not be true after all. I was looking forward to see Uhura do some Sydney Bristow moves.
* I’m still hoping Starblazers (Yamato: The Space Cruiser to some) will still get the live-action translation it truly deserves. Depp as Derek Wildstar!
* In the same vein as Post Secret, I found this site called The Saddest Thing I Own via BoingBoing. The saddest thing I own? A pair of size 32-inch waist jeans which I can no longer wear.
* You know that old joke about fruitcakes? That there aren’t any new fruitcakes being made – they’re just being re-wrapped and passed around every year? Well, this guy rediscovers a fruitcake from 1962.
* New reality show: porn stars to do Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard in “My Bare Lady”. Time to start deleting those Martha Stewart episodes from the DVR.
* I can finally get that Air Supply tattoo! UV Blacklight Ink would only show up under blacklight and not under normal light. Of course if I do get a tattoo, I won’t be worried getting drafted into the Chinese military: they’ve banned snorers and tattoo-wearers.
* This article made me very, very confused. Apparently, pushing food into your spoon using your fork isn’t the proper way to eat. Must be a French thing. (via Nitpicky)
