* The Top 25 X-Men. I remember there were less than 25 X-Men at the time. And yes I agree with #1.
* World War I photos. In color! Ah those wonderful French. They managed to snap a few pics in the midst of the Great War. At least we get an idea what Prof. Tolkien saw with his own eyes and which partly informs his scenes of devastation in the LOTR books.
* Ghost Rider teaser trailer. Nicholas Cage finally gets his wish to play a super-hero. Looks fun especially with the appearance of the Cowboy Ghost Rider but the Rider looks incredibly fake. (It is after all, a talking flaming skull…)
* The Worst Beers in the World. San Miguel Beer’s Blue Ice Beer comes in at 34. Do they still make Blue Ice? I think they’ve dropped it for San Miguel Light.
* If you’ve been meaning to read the Chinese Classics (I know you do…) then hop on over to Wengu - Chinese Classics. It has the usual suspects (Sun Tzi’s Art of War, Tao Te Jing’s The Way and Its Power, Shi Jing’s Book of Odes) in English. Great online resource.
* And in Gaiman News: Just found out they are making Stardust with (eck) Claire Danes. At least Sienna Miller’s in there somewhere and Robert de Niro plays Captain Shakespeare. On the set pics here and here. Teri Hatcher and Dakota Fanning are slated to do the voices of the characters in Coraline. Oy. Ah well at least it’s animated.
* Youtubage: 80s music videos, a very nice mash-up: Neo vs Robocop, more cartoons than you can shake a stick at, the scene reimagined by Robot Chicken where Darth Vader had to tell Emperor Palpatine that the Death Star was destroyed, and Eat Da Crab - pinagtripan na Lola.
