Remember one of those Choose Your Own Adventures books? I was reading one of those and it was very frustrating. My character keeps dying and I have to keep flipping back to the preceding pages. I remember one ‘death’ were my character became a pig and again I ‘died’. It went on to explain that pigs have only one purpose and that is to serve as meat.
And so Feb 19 was the start of the Year of the Pig (Fire Boar,if you want to be precise) according to the Chinese New Year. So this year, be a pig. Don’t just be involved — be committed. Be purposeful. Go ahead and risk your bacon.
Funny how I’m writing this today of all days Mardi Gras — Fat Tuesday. New Year na, Lent pa.
