Spent the last few days in California with the wife. They had TFC and GMA Pinoy TV where we stayed and managed to catch a few shows. Some observations:
1. They're still giving shows to Bayani Agbayani and Smokey Manaloto. More Vhong!
2. They still devote way too much time on beauty contest winners. (Yeah yeah I know...pride of the Philippines all that but there's more to Pinoys than beauty ...

Got this one in the mail. At first I was a bit skeptical about it. I was never a fan of self-help books and cuddly-feel good literature like Five People You Meet in Heaven.
