Lionel V took a picture of a resort’s cottage in Laguna. What came out was a strange figure in white lurking at the top of the stairs.

Does anyone remember that freakish picture of then President Marcos during a Rizal Day ceremony at the Luneta when the Philippine flag morphed into what supposedly looked like slain oppositionist Ninoy Aquino? I do. But I still couldn’t figure out how it in any way resembled Ninoy. Now that I’m older I was thinking it might be a propaganda coup to agitate people into further linking Marcos to Ninoy’s murder. It worked - Marcos got kicked out of the country.

In recent news, Ninoy is supposedly haunting government offices again:

Lawyer Cecile Villarin, who assists in the research work on the Aquino-Galman double murder case, recounted that on Feb. 22, she was working on her computer at the PAO in Diliman, Quezon City, on the transcript of records of Rebecca Quijano — also known as the Crying Lady — when she was surprised to find the words “To reach Senator Aquino” suddenly appear on the screen.

Villarin told Tonight it was rather strange, pointing out she was in the process of copying and pasting another sentence when the phrase came up on the screen — and was repeated eight times.
