Mirsbin’s Kitchen

A week will never be complete if we don’t eat at Pixie’s. Pixie’s is a small sinugba (ihaw ihaw) place near ABS-CBN. Even artists from channel 2 and channel 7 flock there to taste the boneless bangus which comes in small, medium, large, extra large, jumbo and the list goes on and on.

So for my daily lunch with Jovan and Moby? I usually get Bangus (extra large) or Liempo. Sobrang sarap. Jovan and I consumed the one whole extra large fish last Ash Wednesday, so much for fasting hehe. Rico enjoys this place because he claims that it’s al fresco and it’s similar to the cafes in Paris. Hehe not quite since you could feel the buzzing of the tricyles and cars who pass by Mother Ignacia.

They also have inihaw na tilapia, itlog na maalat (salted egg) and other specials. Pixie’s is just across the ABS-CBN compound along Mother Ignacia St.

We got gift certificates for Ice Monster from Moby as Christmas gifts last December. It was a treat for all of us especially those who were eager to start the Christmas break. I got the strawberries with cream, it tasted like the one you do at home with a lot of condensed milk. It was just an ordinary treat, a glorified halo halo stand. All they had to do was crush ice, add fruit then pour milk and some sugar. But Jovan and Moby still raves about it. Well i guess ok na rin since you don’t have to crush the ice.
In the picture Candice had cookies and cream, Grace got the sweet boiled peanut (sounds weird but it was yummy) then the strawberries and cream.
