I remember 6 years ago when I told Mark, a friend from my previous company that I wanted to open a small resto someday. A place where my friends could hang out and have great food. In the next few days it will finally be a reality. Thanks to the prodding and the business sense of my brother, we will open this May.
Soon that empty space on top will finally be filled with kitchen equipment, staff, waitresses, chairs, tables and hopefully a lot of HUNGRY customers.
I just realized that after every catering event that I have I end up eating nuggets from McDonald’s after. I guess this is my comfort food for having prepared a banquet for my clients.
After my delivery in Skycable the other day, I dropped off my sisters and nephews to check out the transport show. Since it was the Mega 3 day sale, parking was really hard in Megamall. So I checked out all of Ortigas where I could park and wait for them to finish. Found myself going to El Pueblo. It used to be a nice place with restos, years ago I would eat there for dates or just to go out with friends. We either chose Fridays or Tamarind grill.
El Pueblo had a new McDo branch. Great! So I had to order my McNuggets meal plus hot fudge sundae. Sarap! Simple lang. So I took my time eating and reading a magazine while waiting for my sister to call. To top off my lunch, I got two balloons from 2 Kiddie crews. They were so cute and looked super sweet.
