anong handa mo?
Anong handa mo mamaya? That was the usual question after people sent out their greetings thru text or email. Funny thing was I didn’t get to cook during my birthday. Close friends know I would go thru extensive planning for the grand celebration and the smaller get together menus for the whole month of September. Sad to say, the cooking part didn’t happen. I just dialed and ordered away…
Invited friends from ABSi and other friends for lunch at Cow King. It was a free day, just order anything from the menu. By evening I was planning on cooking grilled lamb chops and some salad. But things turned out differently, we just ordered Max’s fried chicken, crispy pata and some pancit.
I was on my way to Farmer’s market for Sunday’s celebration when my yaya was rushed to the hospital, so again instead of cooking I ended up buying take out from KFC and Little Quiapo’s pancit palabok.
So the menu is still here, waiting to be cooked. Hopefully I can gather friends next week to continue with the celebration. September pa rin naman eh.
