Katsudon

I’ve been craving for Katsudon ever since i’ve started reading Kitchen by Banana Yoshimoto:

“This katsudon, encountered almost by accident, was made with usual skill, I must say. Good quality meat, excellent broth, the eggs and onions hnadled beautifully, the rice with just the right degree of firmness to hold up in the broth – it was flawless.”

I had one during lunchtime to satisfy my craving. But I was really disappointed with the katsudon I ordered in the new resto at the ground floor of the office. It was far from the description from the book. Have to find some katsudon again… soon
