It’s not every day one gets to meet a real-life WordPress designer. By *designer* I mean one who actually worked on software code from scratch and came up with an original WordPress site design.

And it’s not very often that one gets to virtually “meet” the person whose design one uses as a blog template. So you can just imagine my excitement when the person who created this blog template’s original design (“Banana Smoothie”) dropped me a note last January 21.

Friends, I have the pleasure of introducing to you Mr. Tommy Juhnke. He blogs from Germany, and as far as I can tell (using Altavista’s Babelfish to help me translate his site into English), he’s into photography, music and software, among other things.
