Gas prices are so ridiculously high that this
hoping-to-be-environmentally-responsible car in
SFO has taken to eating stuffed bears for fuel
note: credit for the title goes to the hubby.
(thanks, markie! mwah!)

I love that pic! It makes me miss my miata. But it had a teeny gas tank and it didn’t need refueling much at all. And it was so small I could park it in a shoebox! Heh.

Now, that’s a killer ride.

toni, weez and denden: thanks! this pic has become one of my all-time favorites. and to think mark and i saw this car totally by chance…while walking aimlessly along the streets of san francisco…
phisch: i bet you loved your miata. did you have to sell it/give it away? i think small, zippy cars are the best cars for big cities with teeny parking spaces that are virtually shoeboxes, and crazy streets that are as wide as shoestring potatoes.
john: ey, i’ve been looking all over the web for you. how are things? i’ve updated my link so it goes to your new page.
junnie: hmmm…double meaning lang yung alam ko…ano ba yung ‘third meaning’?
you know, there was a guy taking pictures of the car when we passed by, that’s how we noticed it. i was so amused by it and so engrossed at taking the photo that i wasn’t even able to ask him if he owned it. i think the owner’s pretty proud of his/her car, pero sana wala syang anak kasi kawawa naman yung bata, hehehe.

Petite, we traded it in for a truck. Hehe. Actually, it was necessary since it was impractical to have with two kids in the family. That car had no room for kids! But you should have seen my oldest when I put him on my lap and we’d pretend to “drive.” Little kids adored that car and I’d always catch little ones grinning and pointing.
